We scraped up what we needed to pay my landlord our rent money and put gas in our borrowed vehicle, there is literally $4 leftover after that. So what am I doing to make sure that Justin and I are fed this week? Well, for one, I'm very grateful that I always make sure that I keep my staples stocked up, and that I make chicken bone broth every week. Something else I do is take inventory of everything I have available to cook with: dried beans, jasmine rice, baking ingredients like flour and sugar, onions, potatoes, carrots, other veggies that are in season locally, canned tomatoes, and elbow macaroni noodles...
