Well, it's Tuesday... three more days until payday and you look in your fridge and cupboards and they are practically bare. What do you do? I'm in this exact situation right now. We scraped up what we needed to pay my landlord our rent money and put gas in our borrowed vehicle, there is literally $4 leftover after that. So what am I doing to make sure that Justin and I are fed this week? Well, for one, I'm very grateful that I always make sure that I keep my staples stocked up, and that I make chicken bone broth every week. Something else I do is take inventory of everything I have available to cook with: dried beans, jasmine rice, baking ingredients like flour and sugar, onions, potatoes, carrots, other veggies that are in season locally, canned tomatoes, and elbow macaroni noodles...
